From Partner to Catalyst: AI Tools Empowering the Business Analyst and Product Owner

Abstract

The roles of Business Analysts (BAs) and Product Owners (POs) are evolving rapidly in an era where speed, adaptability, and cross-functional collaboration are no longer optional—they’re essential. Artificial Intelligence is no longer a distant promise; it has become an active player in shaping how we discover needs, define solutions, and deliver value.

This talk reframes AI not as a replacement, but as a Partner, Catalyst, and Connector in the daily workflow of BAs and POs:
• Partner – working alongside us to draft, refine, and validate requirements and documentation. 

• Catalyst – accelerating ideation, prototyping, and story mapping for faster delivery. 

• Connector – bridging stakeholders, systems, and data in real time to ensure alignment.

Building on this idea, we’ll explore a set of AI tools matched to key BA and PO activities.
The session will cover ethics, limits, and tips to help integrate AI thoughtfully into everyday work.
